Panoramic near-Infrared Astronomy Workshop
A very successful workshop was held on the 9th and 10th of November 2005. An international gathering of experts on infrared astronomical survey design and exploitation discussed the latest results from long established surveys, the first scientific output from new surveys and the potential for future follow-up with the next generation of instrumentation. Many thanks to all the participants for making this a memorable workshop and especially to the speakers for their contributions. Many of these presentations are now available via the link to the programme below.
We have also made available an archive copy of the second announcement for the workshop.
On an unusually fine day for November in Edinburgh we had the opportunity to record the attendees to the event. The thumbnail version of the picture below links to a larger version.
Best wishes from the LOC.
