Seminars
Unless stated otherwise, seminars take place at 3pm in the Lecture Theatre, with tea, coffee and biscuits with the speaker after the talk.
Overview of regular talks at the ROE:
- Seminar: at 3pm in the Lecture Theatre, organised by Michal Michalowski and Benjamin Joachimi. Seminars are 45-50' long and scheduled on a weekly basis during term time.
- Coffee talks: 11:00am in the ROE canteen, organised by Tom Targett. Coffee talks are restricted to 20' in length.
- Stobie talk: at 11am in Stobie every Friday, organised by Emma Curtis-Lake. Informal presentation limited to a maximum of 5 slides over 10'.

- astronomy colloquium in the School of Physics & Astronomy, University of St Andrews: usually at 10am in the Theatre C.
- astronomy seminars in the Institute for Computational Cosmology, Durham University: usually at 16:30 in OC218 (Ogden Centre).
