The University of Edinburgh
I am Professor of Cosmology in the Institute for Astronomy at the University of Edinburgh. I am a Fellow of the Royal Society and the Royal Society of Edinburgh, and winner of the 2014 Shaw Prize and the 2023 Gold Medal of the RAS.

My research interests are in theoretical and observational cosmology: large-scale structure; galaxy formation and evolution; evolution of active galaxies; gravitational lensing. During 2015-2021, my work was supported by the COSFORM Advanced Grant from the European Research Council.
