RAVE meeting, Edinburgh 18-19th June 2004
The meeting will be held over 2 days (Friday and Saturday 18-19th) at the Royal Observatory, Blackford Hill, Edinburgh EH9 3HJ.Location - lecture theatre

No buses come up the hill so it's really a choice between taxi or walking.
If you're staying at the Braid Hills Hotel see the hotel page for extra directions (walking route).
Buses - Lothian buses is the main Edinburgh bus company. Most city fares are 80 pence (just over 1 Euro). It is better to have the exact money as no change is given. The Lothian buses website gives details of routes. Numbers 11 (PDF timetable) and 15 (PDF timetable) will get you to/from Braid Hills Hotel to the Apartment restaurant. From Blackford Ave (near the Observatory) the number 24 (PDF timetable) will wind its way to near the restaurant (get off on Melville Drive near the bowling club)
