Submitting your work

You must submit the following items to complete this work:

1. The cover sheet
2. The signed My Own Work Declaration
3. The number of the galaxy set that was allocated to you
4. For each of the five galaxies:

• The printed image of the galaxy, showing your measurement of its size
• The measured size in arcminutes
• The redshift obtained from the '6dfGs' catalogue
• The size of the galaxy in degrees, and your calculation of its distance in light years

4. Your Hubble diagram
5. Your calculation of a value for the Hubble constant
6. Your estimate of the age of the Universe
7. Your final report

Please attach all pieces of paper together by stapling or a paperclip, or alternatively submit them in a polypocket or folder with your name and enrolment number clearly visible on the outside. You must hand your work in at a lecture, tutorial, or at the Observatory by 5pm on Friday 9 November.
