In summary:

Exact light-curve profile, time-lags, flux normalisation, and relative flux ratios between infrared and mm all lead to the conclusion that the BK79 model cannot explain the QPOs observed in GRS 1915+105

The most perplexing problem is the flux normalisation which is significantly too small in the case where the time-lags are minimised. This would be an extremely hard to explain by any jet model.
