We request 2.5 FTE over the full period to resource the deliverables as detailed above (including 0.1 FTE hardware R&D from MacGillivray). We additionally request travel and subsistence for 3 trips per year at an average rate of £1K per trip per FTE for attendance of meetings within the UK, in Europe and Hawai`i (£7.5K per year; £30K in total). The equipment and maintenance request is based on the hardware estimate in the proposal section.
