Preparation System: Java for the combination of its networking, user interfaces and portability
The Observation Scheduler: Java and/or the Anglo-Australian Observatory’s Drama system
The Observation Sequencer: Drama, for compatibility and interfacing to the telescope and instrument control systems.
The Data Reduction System: Existing DR software packages, perhaps Starlink and Iraf, linked via a standard scripting language. Possibly also Java or Drama for overall control and interfacing. (See paper by Economou et al)
