GM Aurigae's SED
GM Aurigae's spectral energy distribution (SED). The dotted line is the input stellar
spectrum, the open squares are data points, and the solid line is the computed SED
using the density profile of a disc with an embedd 1.7 Jupiter mass planet. The dashed
line shows the SED in the absence of a gap and with the disc extending in to 7 stellar
radii. It is clear that the presence of a gap reduces the near infra-red flux (2 - 10
microns) and slightly increases the flux at longer wavelengths (20 microns).
