An outline plan for the WSA development project is presented in our RG funding application, which details a set of work packages, including software design, that are currently being worked on. This work is in its early stages - we are currently working on the formal science requirements and resulting top-level UML design (http://www.roe.ac.uk/~nch/wfcam). All further development work, including software work packages, will follow on from this. The next Section gives a broad outline of the WSA as we currently envision it, with the emphasis on softare solutions. We also discuss the feasibility of our proposed design.
