Hello

Welcome to my homepage! I'm currently completing a Ph.D at the Royal Observatory of Edinburgh, part of the University of Edinburgh.

I previously lived in Leicester, completing an Msci in Physics, Space Research and Space Technology. Space technology is still a passion of mine and I try to keep up to date with current activities.

Current Situation

I'm in the 4th and final year of my Ph.D at the University of Edinburgh. I am funded by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). My supervisors are Dr. Chris Evans and Dr. Andy Longmore of the UK Astronomy Technology Centre (UKATC).

My interests span astronomy and instrumentation, particularly Adaptive Optics (AO) systems. I'm involved in every area of development, from instrument simulations, testing and verification, to data reduction and science output. I particularly enjoy creating false colour images from new data I can get my hands on, such as the image above.
