Radio/Podcasts

Press

Back in 2014, my work on wormholes garnered some attention from the popular press. Anil Ananthaswamy contacted me a few days after I uploaded my paper to ArXiv, interviewed me over the phone, and wrote up a nice little article in New Scientist. Things spread from there: As you might expect, most of these articles exaggerate my findings somewhat. The Daily Mail one is particularly overblown, and erroneously calls me "Professor Butcher", but at least the comments are kind of amusing.

TV

All this internet chatter piqued the interest of the Science Channel, and they cast me in Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman, season 6 episode 2: "Can time go Backwards?". I explained my research using wicker-basket wormholes weaved by Lise Bech.
