Hello
I'm a staff astronomer at the UK Astronomy Technology Centre (UKATC) in Edinburgh. Before that I was a suport astronomer for the UK Infrared Telescope (UKIRT) in Hawaii. My present job is helping to organise a European Network called OPTICON. I also do research on topics that interest me, mostly studying comets and asteroids. Over the years I've also been involved in building and operating astronomical satellites, flight testing fighter aeroplanes, doing chemistry and writing books. If you want to find out more about me and what I do, you can use the links below. I hope you find this material interesting and useful.
