Girl Guides Go For It!
sciZmic space Go For It! Challenge days March 2006

In partnership with sciZmic the Royal Observatory Edinburgh held three space Go For It! challenge days.
The challenge days consisted of five hours of astronomy activities. Our theme for the day was “How do we find out about other planets?”
We built space probes, investigated the conditions needed for life, and used an infra red camera to find out how astronomers see stars behind clouds of dust.

Go For It! mini certificates were provided for each Guide on completion of the Challenge Day.
Dates: 4 March and 24 March 2006
