The Tim Peake Primary Project

British Astronaut Tim Peake

The ESERO-UK Tim Peake Primary Project allows your school to connect with British astronaut Tim Peake’s mission that went to the International Space Station (ISS).

In December 2015 the European Space Agency (ESA) sent their astronaut, Tim Peake, to the ISS for an exciting 6 month mission. ESERO-UK, the UK Space Education Office, have created an exciting project for UK primary schools to get involved.

Primary schools will have the opportunity to take part in a range of activities based around a mission to the International Space Station and what life is like for the astronauts on board.

ESERO Principia Communicators

In Scotland we are working with schools from across the country to engage pupils with the Principia mission. At the Royal Observatory Edinburgh there is a first edition of Principia by Newton, which Tim Peake's mission is named after. This first edition is shown with the Head of UK-ESERO Allan Clements and Space Ambassadors Laura Thomas and Tania Johnston.
