European Network of Optical Clusters (ENOC)
ENOC is a newly formed European "network of networks" - linking together groups across Europe in the field of Optics and Photonics. The UK ATC represents the Photonics Knowledge Transfer Network working across the UK as a whole. ENOC is part of the wider INNOVA Initiative promoting and assisting innovation across sector-focused European networks.
The key objectives of ENOC include:
- Identify the actors in "Optics & Photonics" and compile a directory that includes information about each actor.
- Promote and develop an international network between the partners in "Optics & Photonics".
- Promote training and employment in "Optics & Photonics".
- Establish a methodology for a European network in "Optics & Photonics".
- Ensure the dissemination and the exploitation of this project and its conclusions.
