Royal
Observatory Visit: Wednesday 23rd February 2.30pm
The
Royal Observatory is on Blackford Hill, near the King’s Buildings site.
Meet outside the Observatory gates at the top of Observatory Road, which
is off West Mains Road.
You
will be guided round the Royal Observatory site, which houses the UK’s
Astronomy Technology Centre and the University’s Institute for Astronomy.
You will finish the tour in the Visitor Centre.
The visit will last about one and a half hours.

This information is provided for those who are taking introductory Astronomy courses at the University of Edinburgh.
