Research Interests:
My research interests now lie in non-astronomy applications of the MOPED
algorithm, which along with Alan Heavens and Raul Jimenez I have used for
the past eight years to determine the star formation histories of galaxies
from their spectra.
Our initial application is registration in medical imaging, although we are exploring opportunities in the life science, defence and oil sectors. More information can be found at Blackford Analysis.
