Science Programmes with WFCAM

The UKIRT Infrared Deep Sky Survey (UKIDSS) is an ambitious series of 5 public surveys of varying area and depth, the results from which will become immediately available to the ESO community. A great deal of work from UK astronomers has gone into defining the surveys which have now been approved by the UKIRT board.

In addition to the public surveys, astronomers will be able to apply for time for specific projects through the usual PATT route.
